Those that were witnessed in their "natural habitat" are, clearly, inexperienced shammers. Only the true experienced shammer would not be witnessed nor photographed.

MSG (Join to see) I agree. A true Scammer/Shammer is like a Snow Leopard. Photos and videos exist, but they are difficult to observe in their element because they are elusive, leery of other creatures, and well camouflaged in their natural habitat. Usually they are observed moving from chow to their lair, but they will hide themselves and their tracks well before they get there.

PO1 John Crafton - Always carry a broom and a dustpan. That way you always look like you are being productive. Onboard ship if it hasn't been cleaned four times today, clean it. If it hasn't been painted yet this week, paint it. Don't stand in one place for too long, or you too will be cleaned or painted as mandated above.

PO1 John Crafton - All true, I will put a caveat on E-4 though. In certain ratings (I know don't mention the R word anymore) where because of schooling E-4 is essentially a pay grade as opposed to anything else, then it reverts to foxtail and dustpan.
