Trump has done announced that on Dec 15th he will address all concerns about any conflict of interest. Let's wait til then before we keep the witch hunt going.

Elijah Cummings and his rank(ing) fellow committee members are on the hunt! ... and opening day hasn't yet arrived! My personal interpretation of the quoted section of the lease agreement would be that it applies only to elected officials at the time the lease was signed, not that were elected subsequent to the signing. While GSA doesn't interpret it that way, the fact that it was raised suggests that that is a reasonable interpretation. I imagine Trump will divest to one of his kids ... but it would be reasonable IMV to take it to court for a legal ruling. The IRS has been taken to court numerous times on things it has "interpreted" one way only to have the court take a different view. Don't see any reason that shouldn't apply to the GSA as well.

I think someone is just trying help Twit ter in chief (elect) from getting into problems.
But of course there are some that feel it is witch hunt.
