PO2 William Allen Crowder - What does free association have to do with persecution? I'm sure many other bakers would have been happy to have the business. If the lesbian couple were truly offended, they could have taken their gripe to the public through boycott, rather than appealing to the heavy hand of government. I'm with you on this one, SFC George Smith .

No I am not racist, nor do I detest any subset of people. People are born with the image of God and the human race is one people. The Oregon official persecuted Christian bakers who did try to accommodate the couple with the services of another baker. Imposing such high fines that would bankrupt any small business is effectively silencing their free speech and even their liberty to achieve a livelihood by the trade they had chosen. I view this as government overstretch and using the power of the state in an evil way. The couple who sued could buy a cake or any confection to suit them anywhere else.
