I graciously ask that those that have a Google+ to click the follow button on my blog and/or add your email to the list and follow that way. I will take SGT (Join to see) advice and try to get on a podcast but every little bit helps.

Nicely written article and easy to read, even for the non-tech types. Your question about instructor-led training made me wonder if you had considered whether companies might be served by having their own, in-house instructor(s), rather than on contract?

(Join to see) I believe companies would be well served to have someone in-house that is capable of doing it. However, I think this person should also serve as a consultant on various security matters as well. This would give them a purpose other than just training and make paying them more worth while. Consultants are usually more well versed in all aspects of their field and can speak on business as well as technical issues. Also, could you please follow my blog through Google+ the more the word spreads the better I feel my name will spread as I am transitioning out soon.

In-house consultants are a good thing, but I wouldn't try outside of military or retired military(DoD)personel as that might become a security issue. I had more than a few Officers and Warrant Officers who were more than willing to help me understand or troubleshoot issues at work. That not only becomes a learning opportunity for you, but can also become a teaching opportunity(particularly when it pertains to certain aspects of the workplace and anyone involved). On the other hand, these podcasts will be beneficial to all interested. NCOs should be plugging into them and encouraging their peers and subordinates to do so as well.
Also, don't be afraid to "Google" search technical issues. I remember an issue that came about when we started implementing bitlocker back in 2015. We found out that a lot of our outdated computers didn't have the capability to install or implement it so we had to order new ones. But, we didn't know until one of our techs "Google'd" the issue. After that, implementation was easy.

Check out Podnutz and their "Computer Repair Podcast". You may be able to get a interview or at least a shout-out in one of these shows to create publicity for your blog. MRP Tech and LinuxForTheRestofUs have done so for me.

SGT (Join to see) - Nah I downloaded a Conky script off their google plus page but I plan on figuring out more and more how to modify it to change the way it looks like clocks instead of bars for usage

SGT (Join to see) - Yeah I looked through some of theirs, I will look deeper this week just to look at how they are modifying everything. It will give me some ideas at least.
