As it turned out, the election did not hinge on a single state, as it has in the past. This time, it took three of them to put Trump over the top - Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Sure Florida and Texas mattered. but Texas was never going anywhere but Republican, and despite wishful thinking from the DNC, Florida wasn't going to be all that close either.
Democrats will be pondering how they lost working class voters in droves for a long time.

True, I based my prediction pre-election based off of the 4 most populous and electoral college rich states. If they had not been evenly split it would have been a much tighter race.
