Justifiable?
Why did she just not call the cops when she saw it?
Instead she took the law into her own hands. Which could have ended in the death of the thief (yeah I know who cares) , herself or others if the truck went out of control because she disabled the driver.
She says he drove at her.
Now that you can carry a gun makes you the law!
So if someone stole your shoes you can shoot them as they walk down the street toward you?

So just a couple observations. One, the people in Alaska are not pussies. Steal their truck and you may get shot legal or not. Second, every state that I know of allows for citizens to act on their own behalf for felonies committed in their presence. Third, if your stolen shoes weight 2 tons and have the ability to cause death or serious bodily harm then you can shoot them.

First I know what Alaska is like I lived the a number of years!
This women was stupid to engage! She could have caused severe collateral damage over a stupid truck!
Shoes are just as dangerous just ask George Zimmerman, he shot Travon Martin and that's the most dangerous thing he had on.

Second, if you lived in Alaska then you know that the people there are our last line of defense against all Americans being a bunch of pussies. Why would you push your sissy views on some of the toughest Americans in our nation? Are you trying to make us all soft? This will make the thief easier to catch now, especially if they try to buy replacement glass for the truck.
