Not quite an election, nor a kudo. It's merely an acknowledgement of who, as Time puts it, "for better or for worse...has done the most to influence the events of the year". As I stated elsewhere, he now joins the ranks of not only FDR & Churchill, but the Ayatollah Khomeini, Stalin, and Hitler as well.

Trump constitutionally won fair and square. But if we're going to make it a We the People vs. the intellectuals argument, i.e. us vs. them; he looses by two percentage points. Loosing the popular vote doesn't constitute a "pocket of dissent". Sadly we had an election in which neither candidate could win a simple majority of American approval.

1SG(P) (Join to see) - Look at the pockets of counties who voted against Trump. There's where you'll find your intellectuals

Well my county and those surrounding it all went Trump yet I have an EE and a Masters as well as most of my co-workers. I guess the counties you are referring to are ONLY PHD's ALLOWED.

Why are people freaking out about this, it's not like he got a Nobel Peace Prize out of it.

Wow...now you have me wondering what it would take for President Trump to earn a Nobel Peace Prize.

MSgt James Mullis - I don't want him to win the Peace Prize. I want him to win the 'Put China and Iran back in their f'n boxes' prize, which I sort of think is going to preclude the Peace Prize.

MSgt James Mullis - Go on a World Apology tour. After all, it worked for the current occupant of 1600 PA Ave.

When reading the article, the idiom "Damning with faint praise" comes to mind. Am I the only person to notice the interesting placement of the M in conjunction to Donald Trumps head? I'm sure they didn't mean anything by it.

Times covers have always been controversial for demonizing conservative figures. Condoleeza Rice comes to mind. I doubt it's coincidental.
