I believe because I experienced God's amazing grace. I was interested in drugs, sex and rock and roll. A Christian friend told me about Jesus. I was alone doing some choirs and it dawned on me, I had a decision to make. I chose Christ. It was the most remarkable experience of my life. Christ lifted me higher than I imagined I would ever go! Truely remarkable.

Weed took me way higher than church ever did.

I don't really recommend either of them.

SPC (Join to see) - it is not about the Church, it is about God. Weed had me high but not much else. There is an article on RP today about weed and illness. One individual, now in his 30's realized he has accomplished very little.

LTC David Brown I worded it that way because I can't be sure I ever really believed there are any gods. I may have when I was younger. But the more I learned and experienced, the less the label of theism applied to me, up until the point I rejected the concept out-right. Weed was more fun, but like church, felt detrimental and I eventually grew out of it.

The more I experianced God the less drugs appealed to me. There is a logic I find in God.

Great video. My question regarding such questions always comes back to "what god?" and "which religion had it right, if any".

I gave up on that question long ago. All I can say is that if Islam got it right, I'd rather be wrong

I'd never rather be wrong, but I completely understand the feeling.
