Rent hike forcing veterans to begin relocation from assisted living facility

LTC Marc King - what does my question have to do with my empathy? Every government program has limits on benefits they pay. Or do you think a vet should be able to stay in any facility he wants, no matter the cost, at taxpayer expense? It's no different than how we only get "free" medical care when the hospital /doctor agrees to accept TRICARE max payments. If we could go to any doctor at any cost, military healthcare would be unsustainable.

Limits? What limits like the paying for sex reassignment operations in VA hospitals. Or the Limits on bonuses paid to failed VA Administrators; or limits on taxpayer funded abortions at Planned Parenthood? How about increasing the subsidy by $50 to Veterans rent instead of subsidizing hundreds of millions in Obama Care for undocumented people who are in our country illegally. How about a $50 a month (that is $600 per year) subsidy increase for 5 or 6 Veterans already living in a care facility rather than paying out Social Security Disability payments to otherwise healthy people who are scamming the system. Or maybe we should place the same limits on Social Security checks that are mailed out to dead people every year to the tune of $1B? Are those the kind of government limits you were thinking of? I don't think so and usually I don't respond to the kind of mindless responses that I see from those who do see things differently then I do... but in this case your lack of empathy for Veterans with out regard to the wasteful programs that liberals have sponsored shocks me. I usually just suck it up and let insensitive comment such as this slide... but in following your many responses over time it is clear to me that your liberal agenda is a higher priority for you than insuring your comrades in arms who served the nation have a roof over their heads and food in their bellies.
