Link no longer works. I recall Kuder Preference Tests in Jr. High (originated in 1938 apparently tests in that "tradition" are still given). They were supposed to "reveal" recommended careers base on our natural affinities. Lawyer, Minister, Farming . . . . are the ones I recall.

Strangely enough, when I had my astrology birth chart done for my 21st birthday, it was interesting to note that the "Kuder Preference Tests" mirrored what showed up on my birth chart about career choices . . .

I have found that a good birth chart reading (potential mix of strengths and weakness, personality, strong character/lack of character traits) from a skilled Astrologer is useful to know. Being forewarned is being forearmed. It leads to easier recognition of self, thus provides tools to choose how we evolve . . . because of knowing what weaknesses and strengths might have a tendency to manifest in negative ways.

I think a good birth chart reading is much more accurate than psycoanalysis from a psychologist, actually - unless the tests they use are astrology based! After having my own birth chart done, I have since learned how to do a good reading of astrology birth charts, in general. Current aspects in the here and now, in relation to birth chart placements. are not something I have become adept at . . . which is a skill of Astrologers with expertise.
