BREAKING: President Trump Says Mattis’ Views On Torture Will “Override” His Own

I think this is a great example of someone listening to someone else who knows. President Trump picked Mattis for this very reason and by showing that he is listening and acting on his words that just highlights the fact that the SECDEF is not a figurehead, but an actual player in our government.

I've got the distinct impression that he holds and values Gen Mattis's opinion in very high regard.
