Thanks for sharing significant events of February 2 Maj Marty Hogan I am working my way through messages.
For me the most significant was 1942: Vidkun Quisling becomes 'puppet' prime minister of Norway. Vidkun Quisling, a collaborator with the German occupiers of Norway, becomes the prime minister of a puppet government. He was later tried and executed as a war criminal.
Growing up I understood that a Quisling was a traitor.
