Not much to see with his record. Standard stuff such as SW qualified etc. The staff post for 2 CNO's is not the norm but many get these sort of assignments. Things like think tanks, Whitehouse Fellows, prestigious scholarships and aide slots are often given to people with political connections or the wealthy. They are also awarded based on qualifications, so without inside information we have no way of knowing. It doesn't really matter anyway because his military days are behind him. His background with Goldman Sachs and Breitbart tell us more than his military resume.

Be like a Bird Col in the AF that never flew in a plane and was the SecAF.

Thanks for the article. I hear a lot of the Bannon name these days but we don't get a clear picture of who the man is. Sounds like he can find his way from point A to point B.

SFC Bernard Walko - You're welcome! Finally he got a compliment -- even if it's lukewarm. Thanks for the input!

Actually he sounds a lot better than just getting from point A to B; he sounds like a person I can respect. I am cautious about heaping praise on a person I don’t know based on one article. We all know that writers do with articles, what mathematicians do with statistics… make it say whatever they want. I like to see what a person does and then make up my mind.

We know he served during a time that it wasn't very popular to be a Service Member. We also know at that time you had to voluntarily take you oath. To me that is a big plus for him.
