The scandal has disturbing echoes of the ‘Climategate’ affair which broke shortly before the UN climate summit in 2009, when the leak of thousands of emails between climate scientists suggested they had manipulated and hidden data. Some were British experts at the influential Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.

I don't have any doubt that there is some impact on the environment when you burn fossil fuels and release heat back and CO2 back into the atmosphere that was trapped millions of years ago. What we don't know for certain is the true extent of that impact. The Earth has an inherent ability to terraform, buffering and correcting imbalances that occur... up to a point. And what is that point? We simply don't know. There's more that we don't know than what we do know.
That said, I suspect that Global Warming is being used by the Globalists to boost the economies of developing nations by implementing a carbon tax that basically punishes the more advanced countries and forces them to pay for the development of other less developed countries which are not held to the same high carbon emission and greenhouse gas standards.
I see politics as the engine driving the global warming debate because when you have to make up data to fit your hypotheses, it's no longer a scientific debate, but a political one.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. I have long questioned the validity of using temperature measuring devices on ship intakes. I have often wondered how much manipulation went on. It would seem we have a lot of manipulation of data.

I remember an article a few years back where they shut down the monitoring stations in the north to get the average temp numbers to go up.

Leaks keep getting through, a lot of the data from the global warming "science" has been faked, or manipulated to show something that isn't true. In the world of real science, one the data is proven to be false, the theory dies, but too much money is behind this garbage.
