SSG Michael Hartsfield – Thanks for the post! Not only was it a good read but with a little fact-finding research with Google it morphed into a real 'Eye Opener' for me! I was especially intrigued to learn that the term 'Vrag Naroda' not only originated in Roman times in the Latin term 'hostis publicus', (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemy_of_the_people), but it's also a 1903 Russian pejorative for the Bolsheviks (deriving from большинство bol'shinstvo, "majority", literally meaning "one of the majority"), which is equivalent to our 1998 American movie title 'Enemy of the State' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP9v_e6IW9E).

It truly amazes me how what we tend to view on the surface as innocuous blockbusters cloak a Trojan Horse of historical allusions such as, in this case, the Russian or October Revolution. It obvious to me that when Russian theater-goers viewed this movie in 1998 – and I imagine the subtitles were in English – they were metaphorically viewing the 'man in the mirror', and what's even more prescient about this movie are the many political uprisings we're seeing in 2017 foreshadowing that maybe, just maybe, the majority of Americans are motivated to finally 'make that change'.

Did you read the rest of the article? It talks about Hugo Chavez, Néstor Kirchner, Tabaré Ramón Vázquez, Mugabe, and other dictators that have done the same thing Trump is doing
