Every now and then democratic message boards have a poster who suddenly realizes the effect of Republican policies - because their own family gets hit. In this case, it's a family member who is pretty much uninsurable.

A lot of Trump voters trusted him when he said his health care plan would be 'better than Obamacare.' After the election, many were surprised to learn that 'Obamacare' and the Affordable Care Act were actually the same thing... and that the Republicans have been trying to gut the ACA for years. Now it's happening - and there seem to be many who are surprised to find these changes will effect their families, and not for the better.
