Semper Fi Marines. Tomorrow is our 242nd Birthday. I will not attend any events tomorrow, but will be at Fort Vancouver, Vancouver, WA., for a Veteran's Day Ceremony and Parade on Saturday.

Happy 242nd USMC keeping on being the American heroes you are.
Several years ago while assigned to Ft Benning GA I met a bunch of Force Recon Marines there for the Jump master Course and a few for Ranger school. I guess I was there adopted Army LT they invited me to the Marine Corp Birthday Ball at Ft Benning. I was very honored they invited me, second even though I was Army not a Marine the Birthday Ball made me proud to be a uniform wearing American. I have worked with the Marines several times over my many years in and I have to say they are good. I have much respect for them
