Well, Maryland and California are on my list of places to never live, so I am not that worried, although if this BS spreads from state to state it will not be good. As for the people currently living there that are dealing with this...I do feel for them.

It will be overturned by SCOTUS. Justice Scalia was clear in Heller v DC that the 2nd Amendment protects the types of firearms that are in common use. AR's are probably the most common rifles used in the US.
