Looks like he earned it to me. How do those pathologists know what he was really thinking? I have seen folks with wounds that should have killed them immediately, still go on to fight despite being medically dead. Including one guy who was shot through the heart.

SMSgt Thor Merich I couldn't agree more. Shit, MSG Roy Benavidez was being placed in a body bag when he woke up. Are they going to say that he shouldn't have received his Medal of Honor because there is no way he knew what he was doing? Oh wait, he received the Medal of Honor.

FFS, give this Marine his justly due and hard earned MOH. I wish these doctors and politicians would get their hands out of the pie. He sacrificed himself to save his fellow Marines in that vehicle. What more is needed? What more needs to be proved?
