United CEO says removed passenger was 'disruptive and belligerent' - BBC News

This issue isn't going away any time soon for United and I think the CEO is only making it worse with the words he's choosing to use. Even if the passenger started acting up after he was picked to get off the flight because of overbooking, the results will haunt United for a long time.

The government could easily help United with their overbooking issues by removing them as an option for official travel for government and military personnel.
