While technically correct, the headline is misleading. This player went undrafted, was signed by Patriots, hurt in training camp, spent first year on injured reserve, didn't play in a game the next year and was later released. Signed a futures contract with KC which means he could go to training camp without counting against roster numbers. He has never played a snap in the NFL. So it's not exactly a Pat Tillman story, but rather a guy who is looking for a job after not making it in the NFL. But still nice that he wants to serve his community.
