This speech is great. It does have some outdated views in it, but overall it is a great speech. I bought a copy of it at the Mount Rushmore book store. After reading it, I feel like it is a must read.

There's power in those words because they spring from a man who led by example. He's not asking us to do as he says but rather to do as he does.

CPT Jack Durish That is very true. He lived a "Hold my beer and watch this" kind of life. He was also asthmatic which is amazing given some of the things he has done and the time he lived in.
