As the notion of Congress as a representative government is kaput, Capt Smith's act of Big Citizenship (Khazei, 2011) in suing the government is no less unusual than Congress' loyalty being bought and paid for (Bernie Sanders 2020, 2017) by Big Law, Big Lobby, Big Oil, Big Pharma, etc..

I predict that the courts will;
A) Not hear the case
B) Hear the case and rule against the good captain
C) The good captain will face charges of some type under UCMJ.
D) The captain can expect to remain a O3 for the rest of his career in the service.
