Tear jerker, it's nice that the handlers are able to adopt their dogs, it can seem as bad as loosing a person when they pass. Thanks for serving to both.

SCPO (Join to see) - my dog may not serve- but she is almost 14 and has helped raise three kids, babied my wife through chemo, and tolerated grandkids dressing her up and making her the villain in many play time activities. She is always at the door when I come home and always maintains vigilance in the home when I deploy or we go out on the town. She may not serve- but she has served.

Maj Marty Hogan - have had two or three dozen that never served either, but they were/are 110% family!!!
