SPC(P) Alexandra Bassett: I really liked my Drill Sergeants and TAPS in Basic Training. I started out last in PT; and ended up getting a first "GO" on everything! :)
I failed weaponry the first time-I really hate weapons and war....as I am pretty sure that most service members do.
I became-in AIT-a Squad Leader and a Graduate with Honors.
In Germany-during the Cold War-I became a Sports Director for Dependent Youths.
I especially loved travelling around in Europe....my all-time favorite country is Greece!! :)
My boyfriend and I stayed on three islands: everyday/night; except for one night- when we stayed in a Pensione.
In Piraeus, we saw Police Officers orchestrating traffic as if they were consummate conductors!! :)
