If they have graduated boot camp, and they are part of the service, then they should be allowed to show their pride in that accomplishment and wear their uniform. I find it more unbelievable that a school would have a problem with this. I could understand not allowing JROTC cadets to wear their JROTC uniforms, but someone who has gone through boot camp? That is just stupid.

What? Um...if I was an AD member who'd completed Boot, and was authorized to wear my uniform, there isn't anyone on the planet (other than those in my CoC) who would tell me I couldn't. I guarandamntee that. I wore my Johnny Cash to my brother's funeral, and no one batted an eyelash.

SN Greg Wright I agree. Like I said in my reaction, requiring a law to allow this is just stupid. As a parent if the school tried to stop my child from walking because they wore their uniform I would raise such a shit storm from the principal to the school board that they wouldn't know what hit them. That might be one time where contacting the child's CoC might even be warranted.
