This is another Obama policy that needs to be overturned... Transgender military personnel, if allowed to serve, should receive mental health benefits, not "sex change" surgery benefits.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - You obviously do not keep up with the latest studies on that. Despite your liberal opinions, people who refuse to acknowledge their biological sex and seek to "change" it (which actually does not change the sex) through surgery are mentally ill. Sex cannot be changed any more than race can be changed. You are what you are, whether you want to accept it or not. If you can't accept it, you need mental help, not surgical help. A man getting his penis cut off is no more a woman than a Volkswagen with a Roll Royce grill is a Rolls Royce.

One day a future civilization will look back on this topic and wonder how in the world we got so screwed up we could not accept the biology on something as basic as gender. They will laugh at us, a lot, shake their heads and think wow, what a cupcake generation that was.
