We did just lead. We told the emperor he had no clothes. The agreement is a farce. It has no goals, anyone can opt out at anytime and the worst polluters don't have to do anything. It is as if the Mad Hatter wrote the entire accord.

What do you want to bet you will see others leave this thing. They will do so quietly but anyone being objective sees this for what it is. It is a feel goodism designed to make it look like something is being done when it is not.

We will do the things we do best which is actually create technology and companies in this space to reduce emissions etc. Not the fake ones like Obama's Solyndra which were government propped up failures.

I'm starting to think this is just something were going to have to get used to these next four years. Trump hasn't shown any indication that he'll uphold the responsibility of leadership that the US has held since the Cold War. Unfortunately for us, China, Russia, and Iran have already shown they are more than willing to fill the void.

He did what he promised to do to those that voted for him. All the whining, pissing and moaning is coming from those that didn't vote for him. They are vocal and control the media so they are loud. That is about it.

He did just lead. He led us out of a farce accord where the worst polluters do nothing and we send billions of dollars to the Europeans and others.

"He did what he promised to do" What like with the Wall, NAFTA, and the ACA? Surely the con must be obvious to you now Cpl. He didn't lead, he just pandered to those in his administration that benefit from looser environmental regulations. This is what he does. Make a huge spectacle with all the pomp and ceremony all the while providing little to no follow up in the way of REAL policy initiatives. The sooner you get off the Kool-aid, the sooner you'll see that the only farce here is our current administration.

No. However, as the number one polluter in the world, China does need to step forward and start reducing their emissions (as the United States has been doing for years).

Why would we need to give them decades to catch up? Most of these countries have been around centuries before we were a twinkle in our Father's eyes. Who the Hell gave us a break?
