Damn, how bad do you have to be to be a US establishment, and be banned by the military. "We train soldiers to fight wars against armed enemies, but the shack is not safe." Talk about bad press.

Every installation I've been to has a "black list" for all types of establishments

When I was a commander we had to put several establishments off limits, drug/gang activity, hooka bars selling under the table ingredients, heavy prostitution etc.
Now when I was a young enlisted Airman, off limits meant first stop!!!! LOL.

Every base has these, Norfolk had quite the list last time I was there lol. What's interesting is the things that can get you on the Black list are not always what you would expect.
One Place I was had had a Pizza shop just out the gate, An Officer went there after work with his Family (he was in uniform) The Hostess wouldn't seat them, they watched as several groups showed up after them and were promptly seated, (as the story goes) he asked why they couldn't get a seat and the Hostess told him that Military people expect special treatment and she didn't care and he could just wait and that they really didn't want them there. He demanded to talk to the manager who basically said she had the right to her opinion. So they left and the next day the Officer called up the Shop and asked to talk to the owner, The owner backed up the manager and the Hostess... So the Officer had the shop put on the Black list. If they don't Want the Military then we wont be there. A few months later they went out of business.

CPO (Join to see) Entitled to your own opinion yes, in the Hampton Roads area, a business blacklisted by the military, may as well close shop.
