Yeah you gotta wonder. Then again, I see parents with that constant stoop from looking at too many important posts and texts and yeah - easy to see how people forget their kids. I saw one mental midget knee-deep in a text, grab the wrong toddler hand in the toy section. Took him close to a minute to realize he had the wrong kid. Tho in his defense, the proper parents were too busy in their devices as well.

Fantastic idea but seems too small to effect the temp enough to save someone. Perhaps better to tie it in to an auto-starter, and the vehicles own ac? Regardless, what a sharp, and selfless, young man. My first thought at seeing the gofundme was that I hope his parent's don't mismanage it, but the truth is that parents that raise a kid like this aren't likely to.

While that's a cool idea, Id like to point out that if they cant remember their kids what makes anyone think they will remember to use this?

I don't get how anyone can "Forget" they have a child in the back seat... Personally anyone that leaves a kid (or an animal) in a hot care should be charged with attempted murder, murder, and/or cruelty to an animal.
