So unfortunate. I remember being very wary of my Afghan counterparts. There were quite a few massive green on blue incidents while I was there.

Just reality.... that's why I say we take a step back, and let them kill each other. I realize what I just said could be interpreted in a broad spectrum of ignorance, but I think I don't have to provide more details to justify coming to this conclusion.

*This is speaking in general with our involvement in the ME, not any particular country over there. I don't trust them (as they don't trust us).

You have to understand that you are dealing with a people hamstrung by an ideology that advocates violence as a means to propagate itself, calls itself a religion, and admonishes its followers to use deception. In fact, Islam praises its prophet calling Muhammed a great deceiver, but extols Allah as the "Greatest of Deceivers." I honestly can't think of any other religion (besides those involved in Satan Worship) whose members revere their god as a deceiver. Christians and Jews have another name for the Greatest of Deceivers... and it isn't God.

The members of Islam exploit our generosity and use our own laws against us. They don't believe in compromise. Every concession we make to them ratchets and puts us increasingly at a disadvantage. We preoccupy ourselves with political correctness and try to do the right thing, yet Muslims are not bound by such fantasies, a sense of honor, or code of ethics. What is good and moral and honorable to them is whatever advances Islam, however dishonorable and/or disgraceful we might view their actions as being. They see nothing wrong with taking help from us and then shooting us in the back. They hide in schools, hospitals, and mosques, using the local people as human shields. They send their children out with explosive vests to fight their battles. They target our women and children yet wail loudly when theirs are killed after they put them in harm's way and then exploit their deaths for political advantage. What we think is of no concern to them. We might as well be dogs. They don't see our lives as meaningful or important. Not surprising because they don't see their own lives as important either...

I DO understand that EVERY person born in an Islamic country is going to grow up having no choice but to be Muslim. They grow up getting fed a steady diet of Islamic teaching and to them it's normal. Most do not see themselves as bad people. Most aren't all that religious and many go through the motions just as many Christians do -- those who only go to church on Christmas and Easter and don't pray to God except when they want something. I have a feeling both will end up disappointed in the afterlife. Muslims see the West as evil and blame Western society and culture for all the wrongs they do to others. I really see no solution possible so long as what Muslims believe remains unchanged. Seeing as Islam hasn't changed in almost 1400 years since its inception, I am not holding my breath that we'll see it in our lifetime.

If you haven't read the Qu'ran, you might want to give it a read. Those who turn on us are just being good and faithful Muslims. They are doing exactly what they are instructed to do by their Qu'ran. You will not see much in the way of action from Muslims to do anything more than give lip service to the atrocities their faithful terrorist brethren commit in the name of their god "Allah." They worry about repercussion and deny and say that the actions of the Jihadists don't represent true Islam, yet they refuse to denounce what the radicals do and instead call for more tolerance of Muslims and Islamic teaching.

Frankly, I don't understand how anyone could follow such teachings. People are born knowing right from wrong and Islam is obsessed with death and killing. If Islam truly was as good and enlightening and peaceful as it claims to be, it would not have to threaten its followers with death for leaving it. People would naturally want to stay and not need to be coerced into submission.
