1954 Legion Player of the Year still playing ball

Keep playing as long as you can I played from age 8 to 48 and coached and managed youth ball for 10 years my last season of youth baseball was on a legion team in Santa Barbara CA The summer before I went to USMC Boot Camp... One of my best games was on the field in Chu Lai RVN when we came back from a perimeter patrol and had to move all the construction vehicles off our improvised "ball field" where it was strapped up and staged for a future embark....all we could tell the MP's was "oops"
