I'm glad the dad and his help had the restraint to not kill the guy. Not because the perv deserves to live - but the dad doesn't deserve to go to prison if he had. I also hope he grounded his daughter and took every single electronic thing and bit of freedom from her as well.

My daughters and I had a conversation about this exact issue shortly before this happened. Then this came up, so we had it again.
I stressed the fact that there are a lot of stupid people out there who would try and hurt them in any number of ways. And that if they didn't want Dad to go to jail for really hurting someone that they were dumb enough to chat with on an app that I've already banned, then they had better follow my rules.

SFC (Join to see) Wow, I don't know how I would react toward the idiot sexting (I may have to take an anger management class prior to confronting him); that may also hold true for anyone of my three daughters, if caught them falling ro doing such crap. Grounded is the light punishment in my book!

I would lock my daughter in her room and take away everything, not just electronics, and she only goes to school and back. She's three though so I have some time before I have to worry about it. Hopefully I raise her better than that.
