I've used apps by Blitzortung on android and iPhone. We get plenty of lightning in Minnesota, and I follow the weather regularly out of personal interest and for work on occasion. There is not one single app that does just what I want so I keep a group of them installed on my phone. RadarScope Pro being one of my favorites.

The link provided won't work, but I look at the weather as much as I can. Yes, I'm a weather troop, but as you progress through the ranks, the less and less you do of the actual job, minus when deployed until you make MSgt, then it's much more administrative/oversight.

Oh, I'll be fine. Thunderstorms are far enough away to be a non-issue. Just hot here. Now the idiots around this area that drive, that's what worries me!
