A fairly well-referenced article. IMV, Jarrett got it wrong when he stated "The law is common sense. Yet, it is created by lawmakers who seem to be lacking any sense at all. Many of them do not understand their own laws."

He goes on to use Pelosi as an example.

I think most understand the laws and where they don't, they have access to people that do. What they are doing is throwing BS against the wall of voter opinion in the hopes that some of it will stick, wrong though it may be.

It's not that they do not understand, its political theater. The goal isn't to take any legal action against President Trump and his family and associates is to make it so uncomfortable he will resign. Welcome Mr. Pence, next. But, unless my analysis of Donald Trump is off, he will hang in there through this and any other bogus charges they throw at him.

This is not about Mr. Trump. This is about his agenda and keeping the other weak men and women that Conservatives put in office to act upon that agenda. Al Franken (Minn) could be the only elected Democrat serving in Congress and he alone could stop the President's agenda. Everyday like clockwork he could walk out on the steps of the Capitol and just state that the current Republican legislation will kill minority women and children and will line the pockets of millionaires and billionaires. He could do this everyday for whatever bill and the Republicans would huddle in a corner and piss themselves.
