This is way over the line of excessive force. I was a corrections officer in a Missouri prison and seen a person in one of those restraint chairs. The only thing they can do is move their head or spit at you. If they do that then they put a cover over their head.

Those 3 need to be fired and barred from ever working in any type of law enforcement job ever again. I would even go as far as to say animal control, because if they can do this to a human being it's hard telling what they would do to an animal.

Very disturbing yet good post SGT Wallace.

PVT James Strait - oh yes and some bad ones too. I was just glad I wasn't assigned to the they called "The Walls" that was the worst one in Missouri. Now they've turned it into a museum. Toured thru there while right after graduating training for Corrections Officer school. An inmate in solitary confinement was ghost white, stood at his window jacking off as we walked by, the women looked at him and laughed putting our thumbs and pointer fingers lees than a quarter inch apart letting him know we weren't impressed. He got mad.

The prison I worked at an inmate sliced open another's neck right below the jaw line, but not the artery, because he missed count. Their cell pod looked like they took a bucket of blood and just stood in the door way and tossed in there.

There are others. Like an inmate went after our captain with a lock in a sock and the captain took him down.

Jeez, I miss working there. Bringing back good memories. I actually enjoyed working there more than I did with the unit I was assigned to when I was active duty Army. The corrections officers have your back in any situation, I had some problems with an inmate in housing unit and I requested my sergeant to come to the floor, I had 4 officers plus the sergeant come to the floor. As I spoke to the Sergeant, the 4 officers removed problem inmate. He told me to write an incident report as well as a write up fo the inmate. He read the write up and then helped me with corrections to it so it would be better understanding to the council that read the charges. They also tell you and correct you right away if you mess up. They don't wait until it's too late or last minute or embarrass you in front of everyone.

This is unacceptable behavior and it needs to be dealt with harshly by the court.
