Illegal Alien is a real term in our immigration policy/language. It is not intended to be an insult only descriptive of one's status. I know the left like to say idiotic things like "no person is illegal" and "we are not aliens" but as usual, they are wrong. You are both illegal and an alien. If you were not born here and you came across a border without going through a legal entry point.

Title 8 of US Code, Section 1101: (3)The term "alien" means any person not a citizen or national of the United States.
Legal and illegal persons are aliens.
Unless you are born in the US, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Swains Islands, or you naturalized or derived US citizenship (including acquired), you are an alien.
Calm down everyone.

"Newspeak" is the goal of these would-be PC language manipulators. We can see their semantic contortions in such matters as the term "gun safety" replacing what was (and remains) "gun control".
My favorite example of PC double-talk --- A woman who lamented the fact that "There are far too many young Black males participating in the Criminal Justice System".
