Making people abide to laws is indeed necessary. Sanctuary cities are not just cities - they can be counties and states as well. Sanctuaries are a blatant violation of federal law for one. Sanctuary cities undermine local law enforcement. Additionally sanctuaries are at risk of disqualification from federal law enforcement funds. This is not fair to those that follow the law and and to those in these communities affected. No matter how benign it my seem there is a burden place on those communities.

MAJ (Join to see) - From your previous comment about "all crimes are equal" I need further clarify on this statement. Are you saying that illegals are criminals? For your reference I've posted a link to federal and civil penalties regarding the matter.
