Some people want Antifa officially recognized as a terrorist organization. I'm sure it makes sense if you're terrorized by petulant children throwing tantrums. As for those members of Antifa who commit crimes, treat them as criminals

CPT Jack Durish - This is the preliminary stage.. If they feel they are losing they will resort to more extreme measure out of desperation.... I surmise they would start using ISIS training manuals, or even the Neo Nazi Combat Guide( White resistance Manual v2.4) Look it up, it's a real thing.

Cpl Benjamin Long - Sadly intent isn't sufficient. They must first commit the crime or terrorist act before we can treat them as criminals/terrorists. I may be wrong (and have been in the past) but I can't imagine these children as ever having the capacity to do anything worse than throw a tantrum. Now those on the Left who are inciting them are another matter...

CPT Jack Durish - We are not talking about legal ramification... We are are talking about organizational planning, forced actions... and casualties of dynamics... Wars operate outside of legal structure because war is the result of no legal prudence

CPT Jack Durish - Also you can consider Antifa as a boot camp for Marxist Terrorism... The next step would logically implementation of terror training camps like ISIS does

Feeling you are correct on important political issues, or even that you are struggling against Fascism, doesn't give you license to assault people who disagree with you.

Antifa is a collective... They are a single unit of many components.... They act a singularity in their black bloc.. Then break into separate entities when confronted with overwhelming force, or when they need a operational review on the spot. and if you were attacked by fascists.. you would need to have a plan... via four factor conflict resolution.(Fight, Flight, Posture, Surrender)
1.) If you fight... You need a higher attrition value... If not you get overrun and killed... Game over.
2.) Fleeing... Used when being monstrously overrun....
3.)Posturing... Used when both sides are equal value... Scare off opponent via intimidation.. Does not work against superior forces.
4.) Surrender... Used when over powered, and flight paths are cut off (Better to be captured then you can negotiate later than being out right killed in an overrun)

as well as if you choose to use force you need to apply the seven factor use of force continuum.
1.) Verbal resolution
2.) Physical Gesture
3 )Physical Restraint
4 )Punching Kicking
5 ) Bone Breaking Techniques
6) Lethal unarmed techniques
7) Full Armed Combat

If your opponent uses combat one factor you apply combat one step higher

Antifa isn't (as far as I know) well organized. When they outnumber their opponents, there may be some sort of swarm intelligence from time to time... however what little I have seen was ridiculously unorganized. Then again, is it really a surprise that anarchists don't have a command structure?

Whatever happened, I would ensure I was in full compliance with the law and try to stay away from those who were not. What's scary about protests here in Arizona, is that almost anyone can concealed carry here and once one person loses it and starts shooting you are likely to have a major gun battle on your hands.

Actually they do have a command structure.. Just not an orthodox one.... Like there is a commander of each of their chapters that form affinity groups as a cell structure
