To be honest, smoking cannabis is the least effective way for the body to absorb the active components found in cannabis. Cannabidiol Oil or CBD which is being looked at to help those who have epileptic seizures is the component that has a lot of potential. That product is usually developed with low or no THC (the part of cannabis that gets you high and is addictive). that is what should be looked at first as the last thing you want to give someone with medical issues including PTSD is an opportunity to become addicted to a drug.

It’s an escape from that which is troubling them. Cop-out solution for weak-minded individuals who don’t want to come to grips with their experience and face reality. Military folks aren’t the only ones that deal with stress and death. Cops know that every traffic stop could be their last and just last week a cop was shot in Columbus County NC after pulling over a speeder. Some cops in small towns get paid less than their equivalents in the military. Do they have access to the same benefits as we have from the VA?

Also, people die horribly in car wrecks every day and some riding with them survive horribly disfigured. ER doctors and nurses save people like them and deal with tragedy and death on a daily basis. Death is an unavoidable part of life. You just have to learn to deal with it.

Dope is simply a loser’s escape from reality. There’s a reason they call it dope... Unless you have glaucoma or some physical ailment that marijuana allegedly relieves symptoms of, it’s best to avoid it. The side effects aren’t worth it.

I think a clinical trail is definitely worthwhile.
