Frankly, I don't give a damn. I always hated that movie. I believe that if I became an ax murderer, my punishment would be an eternity in hell watching an endless loop of Gone With The Wind

That being said - this is the scene that, in my opinion, memorialized Margaret Mitchell contention that the Landed Gentry of the Old South established a Sub-Culture that was uniquely part of the American Antebellum South. It was predicated upon a lie that men should enslave other men for and was truly Gone with the Wind.
