There are thousands of trans people who are happier with their transition. A mere handful is statistically irrelevant. Although I do believe 12 is a little young for surgeries and most hormone therapies.

This isn't about an adult making a decision, it's about a CHILD without the mental capacity nor wisdom being encouraged to transition. It's BS, it's child abuse!
