Canada is threatening not to buy the F18 and it knows it's guilty because it's subsidizing Bombardier Industries. Canada's F18 are falling apart and here's another excuse why they won't put in 2% of their GDP toward defense.

Makes me think that this could be a subtle nudge by Canada to see if the White House/DoD can get Boeing to back off,
