Kushner used private email to conduct White House business

Depending on what type of business he was conducting, and with whom.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I don't know all the details of Kushner's use of a private account but I have to admit that I have used private email to conduct military business. I got to a new command in 2012. First time with the Marines so I had never had an @usmc.mil account before. For some reason it took 3.5 months to get my email account set up. They gave me the whole, "Even after we get the paperwork it can take 3-5 days to set it up on the computer." Yeah, I used to run networks for a living before coming back in as a Chaplain. It takes all of about 2 minutes to set up an email account. Anyway, we had a Commanding General's Inspection right toward the end of that 3.5 months so I sent emails back and forth to my XO and other members of the command via Gmail. (Nothing classified. Inspection lists. No PII, etc.) Had to get prepped for the inspection. Come to think of it, the only reason my .mil account finally got set up was because the inspector threatened to fail my section if I didn't have one by the time he flew out. Once the XO found out about that I had email the next day.

This is the same bullshit that went on during the Obama Administration. Trump and his people should know better, and be held to the same standards of transparency as prescribed by law.
