Thank you for the article Trust, that definitely was an uncalled for remark, and statement by the fire chief.

Just because it is for race for one white person does not mean that it is about race for all people that oppose the NFL protests. If it is OK to say that the words of this one person represent all whites or those against the protest, is it OK for someone to claim that because one black man commits a crime all black men are criminals?
Personally, I have more important things to do than to worry about what a bunch of athletes think. How about addressing real world problems to make things better because kneeling by itself is not going to do it and neither is complaining about those that do kneel. If you do not like the athletes protesting at games stop watching. Eventually the league will lose enough money that they they will either tell the players no more protests on the field or they will go out of business. If you are not offended enough to stop watching then apparently the entertainment value of the sport is more important than the protest is offensive so either stop complaining or stop watching/ spending money on the sport, your choice.

Not acceptable. Thank god this guy wasn't a cop. However, if this episode gets people talking, then maybe that's a good thing?
