It's been argued, on RP, that POTUS tweets are official communications. Could deleting or removing tweets be a violation of the law requiring the government to maintain an archive of official business communication (if they weren't saved by official sources previously)?

I think it's funny because it seems that the only reason for him to delete the Tweets is to have deniability that he supported a "LOSER" like Strange in the first place. Especially after bragging about how much popularity Strange had gained because of POTUS support.

The White House spokesperson announced that tweets are considered official statements by the president. Trump has said it is his way to communicate directly with the American people. And it's hilarious that someone in this thread is now trying to make the case that because the tweets are archived on a company's private server that there is no need for them to be archived on a government server. The irony is just too rich.
