CPT Jack Durish - LOL ,,,, Mormons did not practice polygamy in the east coast where they started. As they moved west and the men were being killed off (Mostly ignorant groups would form in lynching mobs) their were lots of widows with children and that is when they started the practice. It was not the harem mentality as the anti-Mormon groups on TV show. The United States Government pressed the Mormons to break their practice of polygamy, even if it was to take care of families that had lost their husbands and fathers. After that the Mormons started the Bishop Store Houses (Church Food Banks). This is also when the creation and ever expansion of the Church Welfare programs started and expanded. Please remember this is before Government Social Welfare Programs. Because the widows and families could not be taken in to someones home. Therefore the Church then brought all needs to them.
Oh by the way CPT Jack Durish - you should not really worry too much about teaching Mormons about Mormons. LOL !! But it really does raise a smile.

I did place two links below here for anyone that wants to read up on it.

2LT Louis Gonzales - The two groups of Mormons do not really get along with each other. The smaller group (Fundamentalist Mormons) went into blood lines for their Church Leadership (closest retaliative to Joseph Smith) and polygamy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LDS (Mormons) Leadership is made of members and not from blood lines and they are very anti-polygamy. The LDS Mormons have no paid Leadership positions. There is no Pastor giving a speech or sermon on Sunday. Every Sunday different members go up front and give a talk about the topic they were asked to give. The members have to read research and present anywhere from a 10min to 25min talk.

CPT Jack Durish - Hay I love ya. But if we disagree then we disagree, so be it. I'm not here to force you or to demean you. Our history books have been scoured to ensure that the truth is there, good or bad. If others want to demonize and hate. Well that's them.

Strange. A country brings in millions of people with many wives having many children and willing to pay for it so said country can have it's culture destroyed. WTF? Over.

Cpl Mark A. Morris - You said it exactly right. I'm also asking WTF. Then I start looking around here. IF they can do it there and the government there will help them do it to their own citizens. What will these Azsholes here do to us ? Should we be so ignorant to think our government will be better ?

It is one part of a full court press to destroy culture and increase the size of government.
Islam creates chaos everywhere it goes. Soon. It will be hate speech to point out Muhammad's life and deeds. See Londonstan and Deerborn, ME.
