NFL's Week 4 sees dozens of players kneel, raise fists during national anthem

It disturbs me that "taking a knee" has morphed into a protest against Trump. IMV, this whole thing isn't about Trump at all and he is a late-comer to the discussion. While I vehemently take exception to disrespecting our flag and national anthem, I could at least empathize with the racial inequality issues that engendered Kaepernick taking a knee in the first place ... though I thought the method he chose to address those issues was misguided. Right issue ... wrong place ... wrong time. I can't even find that empathy for those taking a knee, locking arms, or otherwise disrespecting our flag and national anthem simply because they are pissed about what Trump tweeted. Unacceptable reason for an unacceptable action ... IMV.
