Getting rifles into a hotel in Vegas is easy as pie. Put them in rifle cases, pull up to the passenger unload in front of the hotel, walk into the lobby to either get a luggage cart or ask the bellhop to get you one. Load them and all the ammo onto the baggage cart. Wheel it in via the lobby to the elevators and up to your room. Tip the bellhop (unless you did it yourself). I've done it exactly like that several times. It is perfectly legal to bring a rifle into your hotel room in Vegas. Las Vegas is the home to the largest annual gun show in the world. LV hotels host millions of guns annually.

I have never stayed in a hotel in Vegas without weapons in the room. Look up "Shot Show"

I've stayed at the Mandalay Bay a few times over the years and a few other hotels on the strip. The traffic in these hotels is significant. These are hotels with thousands of room. The Mandalay Bay has over 3300 rooms. It would be very easy to make multiple trips to your car taking up a bag or two at a time. I am not sure if that is how he did it but it could easily be done that way.

The number of people checking in and out on a daily basis is very large as well. This is not the Days Inn with less than 100 rooms.
