AR type rifles are ok for certain things, but I personally prefer a lever or bolt action high caliber rifle for hunting with. As for more gun control, it's a total joke, as I've said before it hasn't done a whole heck of a lot of good for Cook County Illinois, or Wayne County Michigan.

I own a suppressor and they are nothing like the Dems like to believe they are. They will nicely quiet a subsonic round (I doubt a Democrat could explain the difference in FPS between a sub and supersonic) however anything to go any distance remains very loud. They make it nicer for the shooter and those shooting around them but not movie style quiet. I won't shoot anything like what was needed to be effective in Vegas with a suppressor and no hearing protection.

CW3 Lindsey Muller - I got one when I started my feral hog management business. A sounder of pigs will scatter with the first shot, the suppressor allows me to get two or three before they realize they are under fire and I don't have to wear ear muffs.

CW3 Lindsey Muller - A silencer would be cool if they made them however the sound controls Hollywood can do and reality are quite different. Part of the reason you see the NRA and right fight so hard is the ignorance of the anti-gun community. People that have never shot believe what they hear on the news. Nothing short of a TRAINED marksman could have taken him down from outside the room. Maybe some body Armor( AR500 Level III) would have stopped some of his rounds but a NUT with a auto or semi auto weapon can do a lot of damage in a very short time.
